Dr Vishnu Kant Srivastava have worked in various ministries and departments of Government of India for various disciplines of Statistics such as sampling, estimations, projections, surveys etc.  He found that for expressing the results into textual format and making people understand them in common language without referring to Statistical keywords or other jargons.

He worked in Government Sector Statistics in respect of Health, Taxation- Indirect (Customs & Excise) and Direct (Income tax) ones, Animal Husbandry and Socio-Economic Surveys of National Sample Survey Office in respect of sampling, estimation, trends and projections.

As Statistics is a science of observations, he always remained interested in listening to the pro and anti opinions on any subject and recording of any conversation in possible fewer keywords or short sentences without losing any of its important essence.
