Agriculture

Ministry of Agriculture caters to the need of Agricultural Statistics. To understand various methodologies, MoSPI website can also be visited. NIC also provides open data platform for Agriculture Sector.


Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying is composed of two departments Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying; and Department of Fisheries

The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (AH&D)  is responsible for matters relating to livestock production, preservation, protection from diseases and improvement of stocks; dairy development; and for matters relating to the Delhi Milk Scheme and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB).


The Department of Fisheries  is responsible for matters  relating to Development of Inland , Marine and Coastal Fisheries and Fishery Institutes namely

  • Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET), Kerala,
  • Central Institute of Coastal Engineering For Fishery (CICEF), Bangalore,

  • National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), Hyderabad, Coastal Aquaculture Authority, Chennai.

Civil Aviation :

Statistical Division of the Director General of Civil Aviation(DGCA) responsible for registration of all civil aircraft in India under Rule 30 of the Aircraft Rules, 1937. The procedure for registration and de-registration of an aircraft is given in Civil Aviation Requirements Section 2 Series 'F' Part I.

The aircraft is required to bear its nationality and registration markings and the name and address of the owner affixed or printed thereon in accordance with Rule 37 and Civil Aviation Requirements Section 2 Series 'X' Part I.
